We would like to present this unique 1936 Ford Custom pick up. This truck is the creation of a very talented classic car enthusiast who builds many of his own cars. Having owned this particular truck for over 20 years, it has taken on this most recent look in the past few years. There was a great deal of fabrication and custom touches that went into the build.

Features Include;
4.8 Litre LS engine from a 2004 Chevy Pick Up5 Speed Manual OD Transmission from the same 2004 truckHeidt Independent Front SuspensionJaguar Rear EndPower Rack and Pinion Steering4 Wheel Disc Brakes4 Wheel Independent SuspensionWeld WheelsLeather InteriorStainless Steel Custom Built BedTilt Steering ColumnStainless Exhaust w/Magnaflow MufflersViper T/A Radial Gt's in rear 275/60R15sBF Goodrich Radial Touring T/As Front P185/65R14sAir ConditioningSteel Body (Glass Rear Fenders only)

The truck is all original steel except for the rear fenders.

Looking into the cab, you will see a very simple interior. The seats and door panels are real leather. The hides were purchased from a supplier who sells primarily to Cessna to do their jets.

Dolphin gauges were installed.

One thing not working on the car is the passenger side window.

The aftermarket a/c unit cools the cab very well.

The stainless steel bed was designed and made by the owner.

The gas fill is under this round plate.

Under the hood is the 4.8L Chevy engine taken from a 2004 Chevy pick up. Again, a great deal of fabrication and customization went into this engine compartment. The 4.8L is a great engine for this light weight truck. It also gets better fuel mileage than it's more popular 5.3L counterpart.

This truck is a driver. The owner did not build it to take to car shows, he built it to drive and enjoy, and that he has done.

The frame under the 36 is the original frame which has been boxed and modified to fit the Jaguar rear end and the Heidt independent front end.

The transmission is also from the same 2004 Chevy pick up that the engine came from.

You can see the custom work our seller put into this project.

A 3rd brake light was added on the back of the cab.

The paint does have a few areas that were never completely color sanded and buffed. There is this area on the passenger side door. The inside of the bed was not done, and the top sides of the bed. The rest of the truck looks very good.

There is this one area that has some scratches from the hood hitting.

If you are looking for a fun truck to drive, this one fits the bill. With just a little minor paint work, and undercarriage detailing, this truck could be a show piece as well.
