F1 Short Bed Truck
This F1 truck captures the true spirit Henry Fordenvisioned when he designed it as the “Bonus Built” slogan depicts. It’s rounded (art deco) design drips nostalgia andbenefitsfrom anexhausting, nut and bolt restoration. Itis an absolutely stunning Ford pick up. A two year complete restoration made this vehicle the beautiful truck you see today. It received a complete body off, nut and bolt restoration to better than new condition. Attention was paid to details and while not 100% original, originality was emphasized. The only replacement metal used was NOS. Everything else was taken apart and restored or replaced with high quality parts. It would be hard to find a morebeautifulexample of this desirable vintage truck. Every inch of this truck looks as good as you see in the photos. The underside is fully detailed and restored. The inner fenders and behind the seat is just as well finished. This attention to these areas one would never seespeaksvolumes to the quality of this restoration.
The F1 is finished in a two tone format of vanilla white and hugger orange. The 226 flathead engine and the 3 speed (synchronized in 2nd and 3rd gear) remote gear shift transmission were both completely rebuilt and run as new. The electrical system was upgraded with all new wiring and converted to 12 volt. The lights are now bright and up to safety standards and are better than the original 6V lights. Turn signals were added both front and rear. It runs down the road straight and is easy to handle. Power brakes were added so it brakes well and stops straight. The completely restored interior was upgraded with a reupholstered original bench seat as well as seat belts for safety. The bed looks as beautiful as the rest of the truck. The original steel floor bed was replaced with new oak hardwood boards and steel skid strips. The oak finish on the bed has been compared to finely finished furniture by people who have seen it.

I have sold many classic cars on eBay and I respect how difficult it can be to buy cars via the internet. Every car I have ever sold oneBayresulted in a happy owner feeling like they got a great deal andmy positivefeedback proves this. This vehicle will be no exception.
I do reserve the right to end the sale at any time if the truck sells prior to the end of the auction. I can be reached for questions and appointments to show it by contacting me through Ebay. The vehicle is located in Southern Michigan in a Detroit suburb.
