If your looking for a NEW 1940 Ford this is your car. This one is just out of a full Restoration June 2018 .Photos show the original 40 ford I started with.I bought that car in 2001 it stayed in my garage until about 3 years ago . This is when I got serious about doing the car.It was now or never .I had all the work done by professional shops, it was not all done by one shop. This car is All Steel. I bought a new Total Cost Involved chassis (see the photo) It came with all new ford 9 inch rear end, power disc brakes, rack & pinion front end, springs and shocks .The motor is a Chev. 350 S B this was built and bored out to 30 thousands ove, all new parts, as of now the hold car has less then 100 miles on it.It has a 700R4 Auto. Tran. top load floor shift. YES the car has a Vintage Air system works great. AM FM stereo with two rear speakers built into the rear compartment. All the glass is new and tinted with power windows. The stainless trim around the window is all new. I can,t say enough about the great job done on the interior. From the insulated floor to the Glide front seat,the sun visors were done to match the new headliner. The door panels have power window switch built in along with the door pulls. The body has been taken apart then reinstalled to laser straight then taken apart again to paint (base coat clear coat) then it was color sanded. I tried to show how this deep red paint job came out, but it just dose not show very good in the photos It would be best if you came by and saw it and drove the car. All the out side chrome trim is new..The Ford wheels are steel with wide white American Classic.This is the last car to my collection but it is the first one that I,m selling.I have the Ford for sale in town asking $49,900.00 I believe you can not built the car for that now.
