1977 Ford F-150 Additional Info:

This truck is a 95,000 mile original body/paint survivor. It has been updated and upgraded carefully. It still has the original 400, C6 automatic and 9" rear end.
The paint is all original and shines very nicely, looks great for what it is though there are some bumps, scrapes and bruises.
What it does not have is 5 gallons of body filler, screen/newspaper patched rust holes or expandable foam filling up rusted out rocker panels and cab braces. If you've been around classic vehicles long enough you know what I'm talking about. There is peace of mind with an original paint job. The paint is a bit thin on the top of the bed and crazing there. There are some bare spots from where foam tape was removed as the original owner had a topper/camper shell on it.

The truck had a frame-on restoration 3 years ago where the engine, suspension, exhaust, brakes, king pins, steering box etc. were all re-built and blasted, primed and painted. All suspension bushings were replaced with energy suspension polyurethane ones. There is approximately 12,000 miles on the engine, brakes and suspension, less than 1,000 miles on the rear axle.
The 400 was rebuilt by me, a former ASE certified mechanic. It is bored .030 over, has Hastings Moly rings, clevite bearings, Aussie Cleveland heads (no air injection, bumps compression up to 10:1), a comp cams XE262 complete cam kit (including springs and retainers), Weiand action plus intake manifold, Hedman headers and FiTech go efi fuel injection. The truck also has a new billet HEI distributor and Taylor wires. It has a nice mild chop at idle but still makes about 15” of vacuum. It doesn’t smoke, leak, burn oil, overheat or otherwise cause drama.

A late model 140 amp alternator was rebuilt and swapped in along with upgraded charge wire, battery cables and an optima red top battery. There is an electric fan installed which is controlled by the FiTech via a relay.

My youtube channel is CPR FORD GARAGE and I have several videos of the truck there. I have added a walk around and short driving video.

The fuel system consists of Tanks Inc.’s LS fuel system with a corvette filter/regulator, Russel AN fuel hoses/fittings and a Tanks Inc. in tank fuel pump assembly with a Walbro pump.
The suspension was lowered 3" front, 5" rear with a DJM suspension kit; the rear is c-notched. The front was lowered with dream beams and the original rear axle was flipped on top of the leaf springs.
The truck wears brand new 255/60-17 Toyo tires on new American Racing torque thrust 17x8" wheels.

The rear end was built less than 1,000 miles ago with new 3.50 gears and a Detroit Truetrac differential.

The C6 transmission is original but shifts great. The transmission and paint are the only untouched items.

There are limits to the self-learning aspect of the FiTech EFI. I have made good progress with it but I am by no means a professional tuner and have no one nearby who tunes FiTech. Driveability is very good but some improvements to wide open throttle areas could be made with a dyno tune or some good testing and tuning at the dragstrip.
The carpet is newer with added sound deadening, door/window seals are new and the inside of the doors are dynomatted. The rear bronco bumper is shaved, powder coated and on shorter brackets to pull it in closer to the bed.
The steering column was just rebuilt to include a new turn signal switch.
I have a ton more details and all of the receipts if you want to discuss.
Everything works on this truck: you can hop in and fire it up just like a newer vehicle, drive it anywhere, daily if you wish. I would have no qualms about buying the truck, flying out to pick it up and driving it home anywhere in the states.

The auction is for USA sale only. $500 deposit is due immediately upon the winning bid and I would like the truck picked up within 10 days. I’ve owned the truck for about six years and it was not built cheaply as I built it for myself. Bid with confidence you won’t be disappointed.

The truck is also listed for sale locally; I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for a local sale!
