1960 Ford Falcon Additional Info:
It has been a hard decision but the time has come to sell our beloved Falcon. I purchased this car roughly 15 years ago with the intent to make it a presentable "20 Footer". At the time of purchase we stripped the car down to the bare metal. Replaced the Floor pans, rear wheel lips, rear quarter panels and inside quarter panels with factory stamped repair panels. The car was repainted back to the original paint. It was painted with all the glass removed, driveline out, and all emblems/locks/door handles removed. I rebuilt the engine at that time with new rings, bearings, seals, timing chain, water pump, radiator, and hoses. All electric parts were replaced, starter, starter solenoid, converted from generator to a 1965 Mustang alternator, distributor, plugs, wires, points/condenser. All brake lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder replaced. New Fuel tank and sender. New rear leaf springs and front coil springs. All the body seals were replaced. Condition as of today. Surprising most of the body and paint is very presentable. 1 exception is the bottom of the driver door. I have included 2 pictures of it and 1 picture of the passenger side as reference. I have never gotten around to the interior. The headliner is in place but showing some age. This car was equipped with the padded dash option (which is missing but still available) I have 2 sets of the padded dash chrome that runs along the bottom. The car starts and drives. I plan to overhaul the carburetor this week as the idle is a little rough when it warms up. I have several extra parts which are all included. They include the original front bumper and grill. An extra set of rare NOS 1960 fender spears, 2 fuel pumps, carburetor, 2 rims painted at the same time as the car. I am sure I am forgetting something but I am happy to answer any of your questions please send me a message or give me a call James 703-447-1423. I encourage anyone seriously interested to come and look at the car or send a representative.
