Classic, collectible 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible Fox Body
This 1991 California Ford Mustang features an 8 cylinder 5.0 L engine and automatic transmission displaying 61,512 miles on the 5 digit odometer. Black PlastiDip exterior and Gray cloth interior. Full power windows and locks. Tires have decent tread and there is a spare in the back. Upgraded wheels and red calipers have been added. Interior could use a good shampoo and deep clean, but dash, seats and carpet are in decent condition (see pics.) A good detailing and/or some racing style seat covers would really make it pop. Exterior has been done in Matte Black PlastiDip though it's not perfect but body is in good condition with no major damage.
This beast of a muscle car runs, drives and shifts gears, including reverse. Starts up easily and does not overheat or stall. This car was fully tuned up yesterday, June 25 and spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor are all brand new (receipts provided.) A full synthetic blend oil change with new filter was also done at the same time (receipts.) Additionally, all other fluids were checked and topped off if needed. Brakes were done about a month ago, refurbished battery was purchased about 3 weeks ago and top, which is in excellent condition, was replaced about 3 months ago. Lots of things have been done. Registration is on a NON OP so there are no delinquent fees or penalties.
Though this car does indeed run and drive well for it's age, I would still call it a project. Though you can definitely get in and drive without fear of breaking down, the car will still need some work to be restored to it's original grandeur. As follows: power top does not work, motor works but I think it needs hydraulic fluid. Because of this, you have to manually raise and lower the top. Rear windows don't work. Motors work so I think it may be the regulators or they're just simply off track. Front passenger seat needs to be bolted down again. Radio has no face, though speakers have been upgraded to JVC. There are probably a few other glitches but those are the main ones. Nothing major, but I had to disclose. I bought the car to restore but sadly, I don't have the time or the room to store it, so my loss is your gain.
I have done my best to describe this Pony accurately and thoroughly, disclosing all information known to me, and have included plenty of pictures for your visual reference as well as this baby in action (myapologies advance, I'm a terrible videographer LOL), but if I have inadvertently neglected to include any detail you need, please do not hesitateto contact me, as all questions will be answered promptly. By no means is this car perfect or in showroom condition, please don't expect such, but it is as described. The heart and lungs are strong, so with a little cosmetic TLC, you could own an increasingly rare, hard to find classic. As I encourage due diligence, by all means, if you are local to the Los Angeles area, you can contact me to schedule a viewing.

This motor vehicle is being sold AS IS with all faults, including but not limited to those described herein, as well as any other defects, whether or nor presently known or discoverable with or without inspection and operation of the vehicle. Should the motor vehicle be found to be defective after purchase, buyer is fully and solely responsible for any and all servicing and repair costs. The California Vehicle Code (CVC) 24007 (b) (2) issued in accordance with section 44015 of the Health and Safety Code, states that buyers can be presented with a certificate of compliance or a certificate of non-compliance (that has been issued within 90 days) before or at the time of sale. This will allow buyers to pay the registration fees and tax then transfer the car into their name at the DMV and provides them with 90 days of temporary registration from the time the certificate of non-compliance was issued for the vehicle, thus allowing the buyer time to repair the vehicle and bring it into smog conformity. This vehicle will be delivered with a Clear California Title (Pink Slip) and Bill of Sale and 1door key and 1 ignition key. This is all the paperwork you will receive. Verify with your state if this is sufficient to register the vehicle in your state, as it is all you will receive.
