1928 Ford Model A roadster pickup Additional Info:
Listing for a friend that does not use a computer or other electronics! This is an owner built very drive able hot rod. 276 cubic inch Flathead V8 professionally rebuilt by local legend Walt Dupont who has over five decades of experience hot rodding Flatheads. Truck is updated with a T5 manual 5 speed trans. Has Saginaw steering box. Owner is mid seventies and has been driving this rod throughout New England for the past 10 years winning many peoples choice trophies along the way. He has driven as far as the Hartford area of Connecticut keeping up with highway traffic without any issues. He has recently purchased a 40 Ford pickup and is making it his own! Only reason for selling the A bone is that at his age the open vehicle was getting to be less fun! He had considered finding a closed cab and converting this truck before the 40 came along. The bed is about 4 years old Brooksville and cab may also be but was on truck when purchased. Has a custom made convertible top that is included. Tool box in bed does not sell with truck. Owner suggests that this would be a great vehicle to enter in The Race of Gentlemen! Maine does not title older vehicles but there is no question that he owns it, he has prior registrations and will give a notarized bill of sale, this should be all that is needed to get a title if needed but it is best to check with your local DMV if you have any questions. I will glad to answer any questions through Ebay. Truck does not go anywhere until payment has cleared his bank. Buyer is responsible for pick up.
