1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Non GT Additional Info:
INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME. PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 805-8O38 WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY IT NOW. PLEASE ASK YOUR WIFE, GIRLFRIEND, BOYFRIEND, PRIEST, BARTENDER, DOG, OR WHOEVER ELSE YOU NEED TO ASK BEFORE BIDDING. THESE AUCTIONS ARE NOT A GAME AND NOT CHEAP. This is a beautiful example of a 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback that is ready to enjoy today. It is a California car that was built in San Jose, delivered new to the Los Angeles Ordering District, and landing at San Marino Motors in San Marino, CA. It was purchased by Miss Diana Gessner on July 25, 1968. She owned it for a short time before trading it in for the new 1969 Mach 1. It was then purchased as a new car trade in by the elderly gentleman that I got the car from. He retained ownership since 69. It is a well kept car with basically a one owner history. It still retains both of it's original black and yellow CA license plates. I have the original dealer temporary Ownercard as well as the original plastic Owner Card from 68. The factory owner's manual is included and I have the Marti Report for the car. Mustang Fastbacks are becoming increasingly difficult (and expensive) to find and especially stock examples that are this clean. Being a California car that has always been babied, this car has zero rust. I mean none. The factory floorboards, frame, and undercarriage are excellent. The body is excellent. The car is very straight. It has had no body panels replaced. You can try to find one this clean back East, but it is going to be an extremely long and frustrating search. The factory door tag is still in place. The paint is very nice driver quality. It is not a $10k, over the top paint job that makes you scared every time you take it out, but it is very nice and draws a HUGE crowd anywhere you take it. I just want to be upfront and honest from the beginning so you are more than happy with your new car. The chrome and stainless are in nice condition. According to the Marti Report, the Mustang came from Ford Motor Company equipped with the 302 J-code 4 barrel V-8, C4 automatic transmission, Selectaire Air Conditioning (currently non functioning but complete), power steering, Sport Deck rear seat, and Visibility Group among other options. The car runs and drives very well. It is smooth and strong. The carburetor was just gone through. It runs great! New aluminum radiator so it always stays cool, even in Southern California traffic. It has power brakes too. The engine compartment itself looks outstanding and is extremely clean. Chrome valve covers and air cleaner. The black bucket seat interior is in excellent condition. The upholstery, door panels, headliner, and dash pad are all very nice. It is equipped with Magnum 500 wheels. All in all, this Mustang is not perfect but I think you will have a difficult time finding a nicer example even if you spend a fortune. It runs great and looks better. It is ready to hit the car show, Drive-In, or Ice Cream place with your kids today! Clean, clear California title in hand. I am located in Cardiff, California in North County Coastal San Diego.
