1967 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
1967 Ford MustangYou are bidding on my 1967 Mustang that is simply beautiful. I started this restoration but have decided to sell it do to moving and not having the space to finish and keep it. Below I will list as much detail as possible, please ask questions and come see in person before hand if you need.
Body
The body color is pepper grey metallic "the same color as Eleanor". The body is solid, in very good condition, and the paint looks very good. There are a few blemishes, it is what I'd consider very good driver quality but would also look good in shows. There are some new parts, new bumpers, mirrors, some lighting, etc. The whole car was stripped down to metal in preparation for the new paint. The front and rear windows are included, with not cracks, just I have installed them.
Interior
Most of the interior is original and simple cleaned and restored, there are some new parts as well. New carpet, headliner, dash pad, etc. As you can see from the pictures it needs finishing up, but I have all the parts included in this auction to do so. The car was outfitted with an aftermarket ( I assume) air condition unit and hoses but there is no compressor on the engine. The radio plate is included in the auction but its not installed in the dash.
Mechanical
The engine is a 302 V8 with an Automatic transmission. When I bought the car the previous owner supposedly had the engine rebuilt, I have no proof of that but it runs great. I removed and detailed the engine, put on the new aluminum finned valve covers, gaskets installed an aluminum intake and Edelbrock Carburetor. Some new bits under the hood, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc........basic tune up parts. Also just installed a new battery. Has aftermarket headers and mufflers just needs ran the rest of the way out the back.
Everything Else
I installed a new fuel tank and sending unit. The trunk floor is completely solid, as well as the passenger compartment floor, frame, etc. Just look at the pictures, it is not a museum quality underside but it is solid, a good driver. As I said above, it comes with many new parts. Weather stripping, mirrors, dome light, as well as many extra original OEM parts. The stainless trim, lots of stainless trim, extra new radiator support that I had lying around, extra front in, headlight buckets, etc. Just lots of extra parts that the new owner can have if they choose.Brand new wheels and tires, 215/50/ZR17
Winner bidder will need to pick the car up with a trailer obviously since its not finished. Clean and clear Kentucky title in my name. Low reserve. $100 deposit via paypal unless arrangements are made upon completion of sale.
