I’m selling my truck because I’m going to buy a Roadrunner. This is my daily driver and it will pass safety and emissions. I just got done having the engine fully rebuilt, it’s 3 on the tree, shortbed two-wheel drive. I lowered it 4” total by doing a half shackle flip on the back and installing djm I beams on the front, new 17” wheels, new cd player and speakers, etc. I also had the decal on the doors painted to give it the shop truck look. I’m at least the third owner of the truck, I believe it’s an Idaho vehicle.Thanks. Text is best - 801-691-9666 or email blaine.holdaway@yahoo.com. Bid with confidence, I have an awesome Ebay rating. No international buyers please, buyer is in charge of shipping.
Now that I have more time I can write a little more. The following items are new on the truck: full motor rebuild, back tires, winshield wipers, windshield and gasket, painted door logos, heater cable, windshield washer reservoir, door gaskets, mexican blanket seat cover (though it has sign of wear on the driver side since I've been driving it), dash mat, cd player and speakers, all three emergency brake cables, clutch, resurfaced flywheel, wedges on the rear to maintain the right pinion angle after I lowered it, all new fluids front to back.
If you give me your email address I can send you a bunch more pics. I believe it used to be an old farm truck, and I'm not claiming it's in great condition, but for its age, the rust issues are very minimal, a few pinholes in the floor on the driver's side, a quarter sized rust hole on the passenger side under the heater, next to the door, small rust hole on the driver's fender, I crawled underneath and there are holes in the bed floor, and the tailgate has seen better days so I just cut some of the rust out and tac welded in some metal to give it an industrial type look (looks better than a gaping hole IMO). The front bumper is bent, the grill has some cracks and missing little plastic pieces. Cab mounts appear to be solid to me, the two front mounts show some cracking in the metal, but seems solid to me.
Blinkers work, horn works, brakes, lights, brights, shifts great (no tranny issues), motor runs really good, fires up really easy even in the winter, I haven't had any issues with it and I'm going on a year of driving it everyday. No power steering, brakes, and no ac. All the gauges work. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
I forgot to add that I painted the passenger side door. When I got it, it was a different color from the rest of the truck. I matched the color the best I could, and then patina'd the finish to make it match the rest of the truck. I can tell it was painted, but if I didn't say anything, I'm not sure anyone would know. I think that door was replaced because the inside panel is a little different color than the other one, but there are no signs of it ever being in a wreck! And as for the floor with a few pin holes, it's still super solid, you could slam your foot down and it wouldn't damage anything.
