Feel like you've seen this killer truck before? It's certainly possible. Featuring a great look and carrying some serious power, this 1955 Ford F-100 has graced the pages of several magazines and, after spending 35 years under the exacting care of one owner, stands ready to begin a new chapter for a lucky new owner seeking a well-equipped and exceedingly well-built custom truck that will not only turn heads, but is also outfitted for comfortable frequent driving. An unusually masterful... custom restoration left this vintage pickup with a look that's not only geared for maximum visual impact, but shows real craftsmanship, too. When you view its turquoise exterior that's ornamented with prominent flames and pinstriping, you'll find it's not only flashy but very well done. Generally, the more custom the paint, the more chances along the way for mishaps, but you'd be hard pressed to find any here. There have been some great touches added along the way, including extended running boards, lowered door handles that sit flush just behind those flames up front, and a very cool front face that features a shiny chrome front grille standing in stark relief against a navy blue backdrop. Notice how the unabashedly custom wheelhouses are shaped and positioned to perfectly display those custom wheels, while avoiding that "boy in an oversized suit" look you see so often when this is attempted on custom trucks. The more traditional details have been attended to, as well - the bumpers in both front and back are very clean and level and you'll find fresh rubber trim surrounding all the glass. The gray leather interior features a pair of very comfortable, custom-tailored bucket seats sitting in place of the original bench and surrounded by a custom enclosure that really adds a great effect as it tapers downward into the center console carrying a B&M ratchet shifter. Up front lies an inspired-looking dash area that features a turquoise instrument cluster with a full complement of Stewart Warner gauges. Cast your gaze a bit higher and check out the overhead console, where you'll find an AM/FM/CD player and additional control switches. It's a comfortable environment, too - as you relax in a well-contoured and inviting seat, you'll find the shifter is within easy reach and the air conditioning system exhales cold and strong to keep everyone comfortable. In back, the truck bed floor is lined with well-prepped and sealed hardwood, interspersed with stainless steel stripping and held in place by stainless steel hardware. Really a great job, everywhere you look. From its impactful appearance, you might think this truck is all about drawing attention. No doubt, it'll turn heads, but it's configured to be just as much at home on the road as it is on display. A 351 Cleveland sits underneath the hood, packing plenty of power and emitting a strong, throaty tone out the dual exhausts. You'll find power disc brakes on all four corners, and when you take a peek underneath, you'll find that a very handsome Corvette independent rear end with coilovers sitting in place of the solid axle and leaf springs you'd normally expect to encounter. So while other custom truck owners get jolted on irregular roads or experience binding when navigating around corners, you'll be enjoying smooth sailing behind the wheel of a fine-handling pickup. This veritable attention magnet sits on a set of Foose custom wheels - 18" in front and 20" in back - outfitted with Toyo tires. Looking for the last word in high-impact custom trucks?
