1969 Ford Mustang Deluxe/Mach 1 Additional Info:
Imagine yourself in this beautiful 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible this summer. I have owned this car for the past 2 1/2 years. I love driving it but need to sell it because I do not drive it enough. Anyway, according to the previous owner this car was restored in 2006 and has less that 7000 miles since its restoration. Starting in the engine compartment, the engine is a 302 non-original motor. The car starts right up and runs and sounds really nice. Both the engine and C-4 transmission were rebuilt in 2006. It has a fully charged aftermarket air conditioning system that works great and blows cold air on hot summer days with no problem. The car is an automatic but I am INCLUDING a 5 speed conversion kit(minus the shifter handle and clutch pedal) along with a 5 speed Tremec transmission. I purchased this kit from CJ's Pony Parts but never got around to install it. You need to check their website for current pricing on this kit but I know I paid ALOT for it. This kit includes EVERYTHING to convert this beautiful car to a manual transmission. Next, new front disc brakes(calipers, rotors, bearings, lines) were added along with a new power brake booster. The Mustang also has power steering and a power convertible top. It has 17 inch black crager style rims with new tires on the front. Also, a newer gas tank, newer twin exhaust(sound awesome), newer shocks and springs, and a Monte Carlo Bar finish out the engine perfectly.
As far as the body goes, a full floor(from trunk to firewall) was also installed in 2006. The paint, like I stated above, is not perfect. It does shine in the sun but there are flaws. The gaps like up good and there is no sagging in the doors. It is gunmetal gray that looks black in different shades of light. There is pretty much no rust on the car besides a little surface rust, not much at all, underneath. The pictures really show how beautiful this car is. As you might notice, it has 1970 quarter panels on it. Those were also put on in 2006 to give it a sleeker look and I love it. It has both a front and a rear spoiler. Both sets of headlights work great. At the rear, I have installed Sequential LED Taillights. They are not sequential at the moment but I do have the kit along with a schematic diagram for installation. The only thing electrically that does not work is the dash light which I will try to get working before pickup. Also, a Kenwood stereo is included but there is no speakers(it is wired for them). Most of the chrome on the car was powder coated black by the previous owner also. It has a newer convertible power top with glass rear window and motor. Also, a newer windshield, newer dash, newer carpet, newer Mach 1 seats, woodgrain steering wheel, and a removable aftermarket rollbar for which I have shown in both sets of pictures. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures, I will accommodate you the best I can. Please E-mail with any questions. Buyer pays for shipping. Thanks for looking.
