1972 Ford F-250 Additional Info:
I'm selling my 1972 Ford Ranger XLT because I don't drive it enough. This truck deserves to be driven. I purchased it from someone in Las Vegas 2 years ago. According to the VIN, the truck was manufactured in San José. From what I know, the truck was always out west until I bought it. It is solid and has no rust except for the superficial bed rust. I kept it in the garage since owning until recently. The title is clear. I have the previous title from Nevada as well.
***Please note that I stated what the odometer reads currently. I have no way of knowing how many times it has turned over. This truck has been loved and driven so I believe it has at least turned over once.
The truck runs great. I have had no mechanical issues with it since owning it. It would make a great project truck. It needs things like a new gas gauge and new speedometer. There was a crack in the windshield when I bought it. It spread a bit so needs a new windshield and rubber guard. Things like A/C and radio will need work. It has two fuel tanks; I have only run one since owning it and have no info on the second one. The valve is intact.
I put in a new battery and voltage regulator. The only other things I have done are secure throttle linkage because it came loose, replace tie rods (correcting one), secure muffler. The tires should be good for a while.
I'm happy to answer questions and send detailed pics. This is more than I knew when I bought it--I bought it on the guy's word that it ran. It is a 46 year old truck that may have issues I am unaware of or develop issues in the future. For the two years I have owned it, it has run great. It is sold as is. I will gladly answer any questions to the best of my ability (I am not a mechanic or a truckie).
