1949 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
This is a 15 year build that has over $90,000 invested not counting the 100's maybe 1000's of hours. I have it 90% done and running and driving and its race season so I have decided its time for someone else to finish it in their own personality and go enjoy this. Its a complete custom build of a 1949 F-100 pickup that you have to see to appreciate. Its full custom tilting bed with fiberglass fenders (hydraulic tilt for show) The cab and doors are steel and it has suicide doors and front and rear glass installed and door glass goes with truck. It has an full custom Heights chassis that is powder coated red. It has a WP Winters Performance Quick Change rear end with 4.11 gears. it is fully tubbed with Centerline Convo Pros all the way around and Mickey Thompson's. Custom driveshaft, polished Wildwood drilled rotors and polished calipers. Polished QA-1 coil overs with front adjuster knobs. Chrome custom A-arms and 4 link bars. Custom 1953 Buick taillights, Fiberglass front fenders and running boards but still has steel hood. Tilt front end. Tube Chassis running throughout interior and front and set up for 2 bars going from rear of frame to inside cab if you want to install those also. Custom dash with all new Attometer gauges (tach, speedo, oil pressure, temp, boost, fuel pressure, fuel and volt gauge). Custom black walnut door panels and center console that can be removed or used. I left interior set up simple knowing someone might want to have fancy leather or somebody might want it to be drag truck ready. It has 2 racing seats now. 2 sets of 5 point harnesses. I have one side door power track and one stock window run. It needs door latches. I have a lot of extra tracks, switches, pulleys, etc that will go with. All lights and directionals work and truck drives down the road like its straight off the factory assembly line. The front is a complete mustang 2 setup with lots of chrome. I started teak paneling in the rear but it needs to be finished. Has an old Model T horn. Now the best part......the powertrain. No expense spared in making this thing crazy fast 505 ci. Blown Big Block that made over 900hp on the dyno last year with less than 10% boost. This thing is easily over 1000hp and will drive on the street all day long. CROWER crank, Bill Miller aluminum rods and pistons, Moroso aluminum valve covers powerdercoated (decals come off) Crane Roller rockers, Manton push rods, Isky Roller lifter, Isky camshaft, Chevy aluminum polished heads ported and polished, Hampton polished 8-71 blower, close hugger polished headers, MSD ignition, All braided line, 2 850cfm Holley carbs, custom air cleaner, chrome alternator, chrome water pump, all polished pulleys, custom 3 row aluminum radiator, electric cooling fan, Custom Power steering pump, vintage air conditioning all mounted just needs final plumbing, TSI custom built Turbo 400 trans with a manual valve body, TCI line lock, TSI 10" 3000 stall converter Brakes all hooked up and working. Im sure I'm missing stuff but look through the pictures. Quality is incredible and the frame, cage and suicide doors are the best I've seen. It needs someone to do some finish work and it could be on magazine covers. There is no title but thats an easy problem to fix. There are titles available everywhere to old f100's. I know i said there is $90k into it not counting time but no worries the reserve is is a very small percentage of that investment. My loss your gain. I could deliver for a reasonable fee also (I'm retired)
