FOR SALE 1940 FORD 2 DOOR SEDAN CUSTOM CAR/HOT ROD-Recent appraisalavailable below any questions just email me.See appraisal below for detailed condition! I believe this was a deluxe originally but can't guarantee that as I did not build the car and there have been many changes.Please ask questions on anything not listed in this info.The car has an assigned title from Ohio where it was built and when I registeredit in New Mexicothey used the same Vin and assigned title for the new registration.
This car is offered for local pick up I do not want to get involved in shipping and I want whoever buys it to be able to inspect it before making the total payment of the sale!!
FEATURES:-This is an older build but doesn't have a lot of miles on it since the build less than 7000 about 5000 were put on since I have had it.-The color is Raspberry a color used by Chevy and Mazda on some of their vehicles-The car features shaved chrome and bumpers body parts painted to match body very little original chrome-Rebuilt older Corvette 350 w/New Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and new alternator-Turbo 350 automatic transmission-Dual exhaust w/headers-Custom front windshield with fitted glass in the center no metal window divider-Power steering(New unit) and brakes-Power windows-Power and manual driver's seat-Air conditioning and heater-The air conditioner did work when used last but I never use it so took off the belt which is included if you want to re-install-Chevy tilt steering wheel-Custom cloth interior to match the paint job-Custom style back seat with divider and bucket seats in the front-Finished trunk to match interior with hidden built in Amp and concealed battery compartment under the floor-Built in concealed hood latch must be opened from inside the car.-Electric windshield wipers-Concealed trunk keyed opener-Floor mats included-Sirius Radio receiver and antenna included does require a subscription for sirius radio to be used.It plays wirelessly through the radio-Small Tachometer VDO Gauges build into aluminum dash insert.-Interior lights-Key Fob for driver's door and trunk(It used to work doesn't right now not sure why but will include the remote as it probably could be fixed).-All metal body except the running boards they are fiberglass with newer running board rubber replacements.-Body panels are very straight the paint job was high end could use some maintenance.

Corvette with mild cam, newer crank starts and runs excellent. Edlebrock 4bbl carburetor, new alternator. Original, rebuilt radiator. Non-operative AC. Power steering and brakes. Polished aluminum valve covers, polished chrome Edlebrock air cleaner, hugger headers, polished aluminum pulley system. Fully restored compartment and underside of hood. Engine and compartment showing Daily Driver (DD) dirt commensurate with use. Overall well-maintained needing cleaning and detailing. No apparent leakages or damages noticed. Everything functions excepting AC as noted.Chassis: (Overall Condition Grade): 3 Mustang II, rack and pinion on original frame. Ford 8” rear end. Dual leaf springs. Overall clean and well maintained. Typical DD wear, tear and dirt commensurate with use. No apparent leakages or damages noticed. Tires in good condition overall. Wheel in good condition overall needing polishing. Excellent stance. Everything functions as intended. Trunk well detailed with hidden compartment for battery. Audio amplifier behind panel. No spare tire, no tools noted. Hold open Typical DD wear, tear and dirt commensurate with use. Exterior: (Overall Condition Grade): 3 Fully restored / rebuilt. Very straight body. Extraneous trims removed. Doors, hood, trunk lids operate as intended with good panel gaps overall. Window rattle both sides when doors are shut. Trunk strut rubber bumpers torn. Painted head and tail light trims and grille. No bumpers. Frenched license plate surround. Third taillight recessed under rear window. Center bar of windshield removed, and butted glass windshield installed. Trunk handle removed; interior electric and external manual trunk release. Stainless trims are very good. Glass is very good. Lenses are very good. Could use color sanding overall as well as serious detailing. Rubber gasketing good overall. Window fuzzies and rims good overall. Running board mats both very good.Summary/Comments (Condition code: #1 Excellent, #2 Fine, #3 Very Good, #4 Good/Fair, #5 Poor/Restorable, #6 Parts Car) A very nice older build on a desirable vehicle. Well maintained and running well. Needing some detailing and cleaning and a possible color sand to bring out the sharpness of the paint. After reaching a ten-year high in 2008, prices for this vehicle are presently trending down. Overall, I estimate this vehicle to be in #3 condition. After careful evaluation of this vehicle, based on my expertise and experience (and after consulting Old Cars Price Guide, Collector Car Auction Results, The Production Figure Book for U.S. Cars, reviewing the International Vehicle Appraisers Network database, reviewing comparables, costs of replacement parts, etc. and after consulting with other Professional Appraisers, museums, and automotive experts, etc., when necessary, I appraise (estimate) this vehicle as having a fair market value of $31,950.00.
