For sale is a 1968 Ford Torino GT fastback. 302 with C4 transmission,black bucket seats center console, Vin# 8A42F281661Car has some rust in typical places, lower fenders, a few spots on the hood, a little in the lower quarters, and a small rust spot in the cowl/firewall all easy patches. The frame rails, torque boxes, all sub structure is rust free!1 rear floor pan was fully installed (LH side), the RH side is good has one small spot to patch. I will include a full rear pan but it doesn't need a full pan. the front floor pans have been mostly cut out and new pan fitted/ screwed in ready to weld.Engine: 1998 5.0 roller motor, new bearings rod/main, Ford Racing F303 roller cam, comp timing chain, comp full roller rockers, comp push rods, flotek Aluminum heads 58cc 185 runners .160 exh valve .195 int valve, summit air gap intake, 625 carter afb carb fully rebuilt, msd ignition box billet elec dist, Mallory wires, floteck headers into a X pipe into Borla mufflers exh stops at rear end. engine of coarse has all new gaskets/seals water pump/hoses/coolant. new Aluminum radiator/elec fan/shroud I have started the motor and ran it about 45 mins timed it, set the carb, it runs amazing! This motor is perfect and ready to go!Transmission: new oem cooling lines, 2000 Hughes converter, deep sump finned aluminum pan. I have not driven this car I dont know the full condition of it, but the original pan was clean inside, and fluid smelt/looked goodAlso new: gas tank/sending unit, u joints, front seats are fully redone foam/covers/frames paintedIncluded brand new but not installed: front upper/lower a arms with bushings/ball joints, rear brake shoes/drums/brake line/all new hardware
A lot has been done to the car already as you can see. It is a project, that being said if you wanted to just get it driving as is, It will need full brake job (brakes dont work) Tires, fuel line/pump and I think it would be drive ableask any and all questions before bidding.
