1964 Ford Falcon Futura Additional Info:
Hey, thanks for looking.I'm selling my 1964 Ford Falcon Futura. This car has been fully restored (frame on) by Hellbent Customs in Islandia NY. The resto started 5 years ago and was finished about 2 years ago.Every piece of the car has been repaired, replaced, customized, etc...
I will do my best to describe what has been done, but i'm sure I will miss some of the finer details...
Body completely stripped, all trim was removed and shaved off. Whole car was re painted professionally using Kemperle and PPG paints. The color is a Toyota color, Cement Grey with High gloss black roof and any remaining trim on car such as grill, door handles, window trim, etc has been powder coated Matte Black. The body is pin straight with an extremely deep gloss.Bumper bolts have also been shaved off, along with trunk latch, which has been custom relocated under the car. Car has zero rot, rust. There is one tiny bubble on one of the doors and one on one of the lower rear fenders, but that's it. 100's of hours went into hand fabricating and modifying the body. No panel on this car was left untouched. The car is always garage kept and barely driven, never in rain.Motor was rebuilt (30 over)and has under 1500 miles on it since. Starts up instantly and runs smooth as silk.New clutch, brakes and lines, master cylinder, hoses, alternator, battery, starter (nothing in engine bay was left untouched) New radiator with Custom fabbed "vodka skull bottle" overflow tank.New wiring for 75% of car. All major wiring was replaced.New gas tank, sending unit, custom fabbed stainless exhaust with one off muffler. Entire suspension has been custom fabbed to fit perfect. It is a 4 bag air ride system with 2 viair compressors and a 9 gallon tank in trunk. All new bushings, tie rods, any component that was useable on the original suspension was replaced with new parts.Entire interior was dynamatted. New carpet, headliner, Dakota digital gauge cluster, cd/usb stereo with speakers in a custom built console (color matched). Seats have been custom reupholstered with original patterns and design. All door panels and rear deck lid were custom fabbed and powder coated Matte Black.New BFG 2 1/2" whitewalls all around with 15" custom (wheel smith) wheels.Everything on the car works, there are no gremlins or short cuts whatsoever. This car was built with care and lots of love. I used it as a family cruiser on sundays and took it to some shows. It was never driven hard ever. It's not a hotrod by any means, just a great running, awesome one of a kind cruiser that gets more looks than wanted and never ever lets you down.Overall the car is a 9.5 out of 10.The only parts not installed yet were the felt liners between the windows and doors and the weatherstripping around the doors. All weather stripping in trunk and engine bay were done with new material. The back of the front seat has a slight hole due to a spring that popped on the seat, but that was repaired and the seat was patched with a tiny little cool patch(less than an inch around). Adds character? Either way, easy fix if you are really anal about perfection. Other than the 2 bubbles mentioned earlier, the paint is flawless. There may be a tiny nick or 2 from regular driving stuff, but no scratches, dings, cracks etc...I have described this car as fully as I can and with complete honesty. I have tons of in progress pics and a folder full of receipts for all work done. Nothing was done half assed, everything was done professionally at the best shops around. This is a great driving show car that has won a few trophies. If you are looking for a pristine, trailer queen $100k+ car, this isn't it. It is however pretty damn close! There is over $35k invested in this car, and even though it is well worth it, I am not looking to get it all back. I love this car and would like to see it go to someone who will take as good of care of it as I have. 4 door classics are rising in value and collectability at the moment, so get an awesome example of a fully custom one before the prices go up!
