1974 Ford F-250 Ranger Additional Info:
i took this highboy on trade. I'm a mechanic I've looked it over and drove it so here's what info I have. Yes it's a 1974 f250 Ranger 4x4 4 speed manual with the divorced transfer case and rare power steering. And tires are about 70 percent with matching spare. They quit making the highboys in mid 1977. It has $3000.00 put into the 390 engine and new clutch. From the outside I see edelbrock carb with headers and 3 inch exhaust all the way out. This engine makes your heart skip a beat when you start it up and you can't help but get butterflies in your stomach from the sound of raw power. I put it in second and smoked both big tires with ease. Everything mechanically is great with no leaks except I see the power steering ram drips when in use. The left tie rod should be replaced. One tube on the left header has a repair weld on it. The left front axle u joint is broke so you can't use the four wheel drive till that's fixed. The truck has no rust anywhere but has some small dents here and there on the bed and you see the hole were there was a fifth wheel ball in the bed and the front part should be replaced. If you need a picture of something just ask. I've started the bidding as low as I can go.
