1928 Ford Model A 5 Window presented by; GARRETT CLASSICS1865 McGee Ln, Ste FLewisville, TX 75077 Call Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris 214-616-2317 FEATURES INCLUDE; 350 CI Bored .030 OverNew Flat Top Hypereutectic PistonsNew Comp Cam 12-600-4 ThumperDouble Hump Heads- stainless valvesRoller RockersHolley CarburetorMSD DistributorTurbo 350 Automatic TransB & M ShifterRPC Ceramic Coated HeadersSmithy MufflersNew Hydraulic Brakes all 4 Wheels9" Ford Rear End w/28 Spline AxlesNew Steel U2 Gas Tank w/Sensorand much more - see ad Enjoy the video road test of this 1928 FORD here. The interior is simple but functional. The custom fabricated bench seat was done by PG Upholstery in FT. Worth, TX. The radiator is new and from a 1965 Mustang. The front axle is original Henry Ford and has been dropped 4 inches by Sid's Dropaxle in Oklahoma. The front spring is a Posie with one or 2 leafs removed. The front shocks are from Pete and Jake's as well as the front and rear panhard bars. The custom gauge cluster houses Stewart Warner gauges. The Turbo 350 transmission with B & M shifter and shift kit, and all new clutches, was built by Big John's Transmission in Watauga, Texas The RPC ceramic coated headers are like new and feed into the old school Smithy mufflers. The Holley double pumper carburetor sit atop a high rise intake which is pared to the 350 ci SBC engine which has been bored .030 over and runs out strong. The MSD distributor fires this small block every time. The new steel U2 fuel tank has been installed in the trunk and the original tank under the cowl in the front of the car was removed. The original fuel cap was left on just for looks. All new hydraulic brakes have been installed all around. The master cylinder is under the front of the cab. The 28 rides on steel wheels wrapped in LT235/85R16 tires in the rear and 185/60R15s in the front. The seller is also throwing in a set of cheater slicks also on matching painted steel wheels, just in case you want to take it to the track. There are also a set of old school lake headers included if the buyer would like them. We will adjust the price of the car if our buyer does not want the slicks or headers. The 28 was built locally here in Texas. It started with an original 28 body and frame. It was a solid body with a bit of surface rust, but the car was built well and is all about the mechanicals. The builder wasn't sure which direction to take the car, rat rod or cool street rod. It's a bit of a combination of both. The original vinyl top was filled in and looks great. The headliner has not been done. There are some really interesting things that could be done with this. Give it your own touch. Finished in a dark brown paint, the paint is not perfect, but very presentable. Enjoy some additional photos and if you left click on any one of our photos, you will be redirected to the Photobucket album to view even more. The windshield rear side windows and rear window are original. The 2 front side windows are Plexiglas. One of the original side rear windows is cracked. Thank you for viewing our ad.
