1954 Ford F-100 Additional Info:

1954 Ford F-500 used for the railroad from what I have been told. It was converted back in the 50's I believe and is a 3 door. Drop this truck on a new model chassis and enjoy but get ready for all the attention. Leave the body of the truck as it is and still get as much attention as the restored hot rods do. The truck obviously needs work but will be a unique item when its finished. It has the usual rust for these trucks and all the parts are compatible with f-100. It will need the door bottoms on the front passenger and rear drivers door. The front drivers door is not too bad. The cab corners are in good condition. The front drivers floor would need to be replaced. The front edge of the hood is also rusted and needs to be repaired and there is some rust on the pillar on the drivers side. This is a super rare truck and have the vin number and documents to obtain a title from the previous owner. I bought an old panel truck and cut it to make a bed with and it also has some rust as seen in the pictures. The truck is complete and still has the original radio still in it. It does not have an engine or transmission and will roll without any problems. It looks huge but it really is nothing more than a f-100 with a crew cab and dual rear wheels. I hauled it on my 20' car trailer. Its almost the size of a new model crew cab dually and weighs I'm guessing around 2500- 3000lbs.
The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm a Chevy man and I found a Chevy crew cab COE truck that I am building for my hauler instead of this one. I would say in a weekend you could have all the rust repaired as most all of the parts can be bought to repair it and mainly its the door bottoms, pillar, hood edge, and front floor pan. I have 4500 in the truck as it sits and would like to get that back out of it
I will require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 24 hrs.after the auction ends and the remaining balance to be paid in full within 3 days with either cash or certified bank check but must clear before picking up the truck. As you can tell, its sitting in front of my garage and the weather is now nice enough to work on my other stuff so I'd like to get it moved within a week or some but contact me if it needs to be longer and I'll work with you. No warranties or guarantees, you buy it as is.
