1955 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
1955 Ford F-100. NO LIMIT SILVER BULLET Yes, this is the former Award Winning, Championship Winning, No Limit Engineering Silver Bullet! The truck is built on a no limit Engineering Big 10 chassis and features the best modern built classic truck engineering and components available. Features like Baer 14" 6 piston brakes front and rear. Ridetech Shock Waves, E3 system, Flaming River rack & pinion, Currie 9" with Strange Engineering 1 aluminum center section (3.70 posi), Coleman floating Billet hubs. The drivetrain is all Ford. The engine started life as a Ford Windsor Racing block. 392ci Stroker, Bullet crank and rods, JE pistons, AFR heads, and Comp cams valvetrain. GT style EFI for performance, drivability and reliability! This is a 9.0 -1 combo that runs on pump gas, puts out 400+hp and 416 ft. lbs. torque to the ground, and will still get 20+ miles to the gallon on the highway. World Class T-5 speed transmission, with Billet flywheel and hydraulic clutch. Very comfortable to drive with power steering and power brakes. The body is all steel and the bed is from Dan Carpenter. The bed is 4" wider than stock. And, yes you can add a wood bed if you like. The interior is NO NONSENSE, bucket seats, seat belts, no carpet. I have made several changes and additions to the truck since purchased. But nothing to alter the performance or handling. The front fenders were fiberglass when the truck was purchased. I changed them out for reproduction steel. The truck is now ALL STEEL! The trucks paint was not in the best of condition, it was applied dry with sort of a mat finish for durability. It had been up against the cones several times and the paint on the drivers side bottom of fenders was a little rough. I repainted about 3/4 of the truck, and it now stands pretty tall. I added custom aluminum door panels, kick panels, headliner and ProCar bucket seats. Auto Meter carbon fiber gauges and engine turned dash insert. I painted the steering column Black and replaced the steering wheel with a Joe's Racing circle track wheel and pad. I changed the headlights to a more conventional look, but still halogen. The front turn signals are now also running lights, 3 piece aluminum bed that is held in with dusz fastener and can easily be remove for any needed maintenance in that area. I changed the tube/wing support back closer to its original design. I like it much better that the smaller setup that was in the truck when I bought it. All of the aluminum work was done by US 12 Speed & Custom. New Buffalo, MI.The original Intro Truckster wheels and KDW's are now powder coated Black. There is a hood that goes with the truck. I just like it without.I almost forgot. The truck does have a chopped top, it is called a Gentlemen's Chop. It uses the stock windshield and rear window. The doors and side windows are however modified. You will notice there are NO side windows currently installed.i do have the correct modified wing window frames. I am selling for $45,000. While I love the performance of this truck, I am a convertible man so Im letting it go for my true passion. If you look on Goolsby Customs webpage you will see this truck under No LIMIT's banner. You can also see the whole build of this truck on No Limits website. She's a great one. I was looking at 55 ford and Chevs online and NONE are even close to this truck...even in the 75K range!!!Another plus is the fact that the truck is so short. So if you have a smaller garage, it will probably fit!Does your club sponsor road/cone races? Wait till hi see the Corvette owners faces when you outrun them easily! This truck handles! You sit higher and it's easier to see. The frame is a monster and the handling is superb!
