ORIGINAL OWNER 1987 FORD MUSTANG GT 5.0L 5 SPEED MANUAL
For over 20 years I have performed resto mod / speed shop services for Mustangs from 64-17, this is one of my personal cars, my beloved Fox Body Mustang GT 5.0L Hatchback, Cabernet Red exterior, w/ Smoke Gray interior is my favorite.
I am the ORIGINAL Owner of this car, and I love it TODAY more than the day I purchased the car back in the summer of 1987, 24 AUG. I care deeply about HONOR and INTEGRITY, so with this said I will make the commitment to you that my description of this car will be very detailed, lengthy, and most certainly accurate. This is a TOUGH decision for me to place this ride up for sale, but my health has forced me to do so. I want this car to go to someone who will KEEP the car for a long time, like I have for 30+ plus years....and who knows if by some miracle I beat the odds, maybe, just maybe one day I will look to try to buy her back!
The car to this day runs much stronger than the day I bought it, and has lost nothing in the performance. In fact, I have run against new Coyote 5.0L Mustangs and taken far more of them, than I have lost. On paper this car seems out gunned and most people would think it has little chance a hanging with today's highly technologically advanced high horsepower pony cars, but they would be sadly mistaken :). This car runs strong, and handles much better than most 87 Mustangs, for it can surprise many. She is not perfect, but she is a strong sweet Mustang The engine bay is CLEAN, and sports many upgrades done slowly over the course of the three decades (30 yrs) since I bought it off the dealer showroom floor. It was my first new car. Dollar for dollar this car is the best value of any automobile I have ever owned or built. Runs 12s, handles with the new cars of today with the mods she sports, gets as much as 28-29MPG in overdrive on long hauls too!
This car has been everywhere! SC, NC, TN, GA, OH, PA, VA WV, MD, NY NJ, FL, AK, MS, LA, OK, Texas, NM, California, etc. NEVER ONCE HAS THIS CAR LEFT ME ON THE ROADSIDE!...
I have owned this car since new in 1987, best car I have ever owned. Sad to have to sell it, but my health no longer permits me to enjoy the car. That said, I will NOT give it away! Car scores top of the line on Auto Check, These cars are worth more everyday now, especially an original one owner like this one. $18,235 FIRM BUY IT NOW, OR MAKE A REASONABLE OFFER..SERIOUSLY DO NOT BE "BALLON KNOT" AND OFFER SOMETHING UNDER $10,000... I WILL NOT EVEN REPLY..(IT IS WORTH MORE..I just put $1,500 more in her rearend, new clutch, ZEX system, etc), or they can just bury me in her :). * Sure, you can buy multiple owner Fox Body Mustangs from $6500-$9500 all day, BUT THESE $6500-$9500 CARS ARE NOT THIS ONE OWNER, CLEAN TITLE, FOX LIKE THIS ONE...WITH THE RECEIPTS OF THREE DECADES OF PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS.. My car looks and runs better than many cars with 1/4 of the miles that my has.. Just shows how durable these cars are, along with what taking care of a car properly does for it;s longevity.

She needs the bumper cover repainted due to recent clear coat peel, as she was painted last in 2001. She has a few hail dings, and is after all a daily driver, road warrior. Like they say, use it or lose it. True in the gym, true in the bedroom, true with your brain, and so too is it true with your stang.. DRIVING THE CAR KEEPS THEM ALIVE, PROVIDED YOU MAINTENANCE THE RIDE.
