The Hagerty valuation team has been predicting it for years. So when a 1990 7Up Edition Mustang 5.0 LX (albeit one with 15 miles on it) sold for $82,500 at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale this past January, it was pretty clear that the car had arrived as a genuine collectible.Read the entire Hagerty article here at Hagerty.comOn Dec-04-17 at 10:32:37 PST, seller added the following information:Original owner sent me this note word for word:
Just saw where AutoCheck reported an accident on the Mustang in 2003. This is false! I was stopped to turn left when the car behind me, also stopped, was rear ended by a
third car. The car behind me was able to turn off the road to the right and barely miss the Mustang. The Mustang wasn't actually involved in the accident. I think the accident report may not have clearly indicated this, and I had no reason to check the report for errors.
