This 1962 FORD Falcon Tudor (2-Door) is in near-mint condition and is a true “survivor.” I’ve owned it since 2006 and it has just over 22,700 miles on its ORIGINAL engine.Car has been garage-kept and tagged as a "Classic" since then.See photo from an August 1961 FORD sales brochure; its featured centerfold is this exact Falcon model! The only option the car had at purchase was an automatic transmission. Back-up lights were added by the dealership.

All repairs and upgrades I made were designed to keep the car "original." I have a complete list of these. The engine is a 170 CID 6-cylinder powering a 2-speed automatic transmission. Carstarts upevery time and runs smoothly. It cruises sprightly and quietly without burning oil. The engine was modified in 2002 to burn unleaded fuel. That same year, a new fuel tank and float, new disc brakes and a complete exhaust system were installed. Since my purchase, among other things, I installed a new exhaust manifold, master cylinder and brake lines, fuel pump,rebuiltcarburetor, shocks, tires, battery, radiator, all hoses and belts, headlamps and other bulbs, etc. and a complete transmission service.

At some point, the car was repainted its original color, "Silver moss". However, it needs a paint job and a few small areas need priming. Vehicle is straight and all body parts are sturdy. All vehicle glass is original, intact, and in excellent condition – no ‘whistling’ and no leaking. All stainless and chrome trim is intact and in great condition. Its chrome bumpers are in near-perfect condition.

All instruments (i.e. manual choke, 2-speed heater/defroster, dome light, instrument cluster lights, hi/lo beam indicator, signal indicator, speedometer, odometer, oil, generator, fuel and temperature gauges, etc.) are in proper working condition. The interior (i.e. seats, dash, instrument panel, etc.) is in excellent condition and all accessories function properly. SeveralNEW andNOS parts are included with this sale. Among them,a working AMradio (needs a speaker and antenna), extra headlamp and other bulbs, etc.The original radio and cigar-lighter delete blanks are included in the sale.

This Falcon is a great “SWAP MEET,” “CRUISE NITE” or “SHOW CAR.” It garners lots of compliments! ORyou can tag it as a “Daily Driver.” Ask any questions; I’ll answer promptly and factually.
