Video will open in a new window
[isdntekvideo] In 2010, the grandfather passed away leaving his collection of cars of owning for decades behind to his son & grandson. As the video explains from the grandson, they really didn't have any interest in them.
In Los Angeles, its very rare to see actual "Barns". When you see a car sitting in LA, its more in likely in a garage, backyard or luckily in this case - enclosed car trailers.
Up for the very first time for sale is going to be listings of the car collection - one by one.________________

Very cool story reading this Ford AA. Been in the family for over 50 years. Was owned original by the great grandfather whom purchased it from a local farmer & he used it in the family moving business in Orange County, California. Restored in the late 70s and was used in front of company to draw attention & in the annual City parade. Years ago, it was put in storage (retirement), out of the public's eyes for many years.
Doing some homework, its a Factory 1928 Ford Model AA131 Chassis, Flathead 4 - 3 speed manual with the correct worm type axle. Original 20' steel spoke wheels. In house mechanic (took care of collection plus was the owners close friend) whom is 75+ himself said that when they restored the truck, this is the way its been for years without a cab. All they did was restored the bed as the wood was falling apart, plus cosmetic. Please understand its not perfectin any way, older paint which shows wear.
Above photo is from AAFord dot com mentioning that it was possible to purchase just a chassis from Ford wanting to add there own body. Ideal for a farmer from Orange County .... Please if you have any more information and your more familiar with the Model AAs, drop me a email.
Spot on the Left fender is the glare from the headlight. The 2 poles are detachable & was used for the parade to hold up a banner
Running & driving - brakes & shifts. Only drove around town. Seems to run fine but I would maybe go thru the brakes, fuel system, etc. if you want it perfect. It DOES run & drive -
