1967 Ford Mustang convertible Additional Info:
Up for bids is this pretty much all original 1967 ford mustang convertible. I have had several convertibles over the years and this is the most solid one I have had. It was parked in a shed in 1983 and has sat there since. It was a open shed but had a roof over it so it was exposed to a certain amount but had a roof over it to keep the rain out of it. The rails, rockers, torque boxes, engine bay, trunk floor, floor pans, fenders, doors, are all good. It is very seldom I find a car this solid especially a convertible. Most of these are rotten. The only rust I have found is the lower rear quarters have some rust spots and will need lower patch panels and thats about it. This car is a complete car nothing to hunt or find. It is all here. The car is a original 6 cylinder automatic car. It will crank and run. I put a new gas tank in it. It will run and idles good. It will need a new freeze plug in it because it is leaking water. The transmission will go into gear. It will need a brake job. I put a new master cylinder on it but the brakes need new hardware. I started on it but decided to leave it as is and let someone else finish it if they want to because I know there is a good possibility whoever buys it will convert it over to a V8 anyway. The complete top is there and is functional. I took a bunch of pics but if you need more just let me know. It has the original door tag and matching fender stamp. I have a clear title for it. As far as condition for everything I am selling this as a project so that means it needs restoration. The car will start with key and everything looks to be original. All the sheetmetal looks to be original. It looks to be the original paint and interior. It has surface rust on it but thats about it. The car is located in Jonesboro Louisiana and will have to be picked up here. I can store it as long as needed but will need full payment within seven days after the auction ends. I need serious bidders please so that means have all funding and permission before bidding. This is a real car forsale so this is not a game. As for payment I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for the car. The car is open to look at if you want to look at it. My number is 3182781069 if you have questions just give me a call or email me. My name is Rodney. Again this is a very nice project car that needs restoration.
