1978 Custom Ford Bronco
I have owned this Total Custom 1978 Ford Bronco for over 30 years. She has been rebuilt 3 times in her life span. Each time we concentrated on different aspects and keep improving her. This last time I went Street Custom and detuned the Differential Gears back to 3:55, Removed the 4 ½” lift & installed 4 New Rancho 2 ½” Lift Springs, Tied her down with Front & Rear Sway Bars & added tire to tire Running Boards. She is a lot More Street able now days, but make no mistake she can hold her own off road and could do so more, if wanted, with the removal of the Sway Bars.
Since the last rebuild, she has less than 5000 miles on her.
Features:
As seen in some of these pictures, the last restoration was quiet detailed in the body & paint work. The Roll bar was installed which is .194 wall welded into the frame. The entire interior was coated with a Rhino Liner style of coating. After that was done, as it did not dampen the sound like I was hoping, I Sound Coated the entire interior with 3 boxes of “Cache” music sound distortion material (which was not cheap). I then installed a sheet of Aluminum over the corrugated bed to make it smooth for sleeping on during camping trips.I also had my upholstery guy install top of the line ½ inch padding under Black “Bentley” Carpet. With 2 top of the line “Corbeau” Lumbar Support, Heated Bucket Seats, Power Windows with Retro Crank power switches.A New Dash Pad and this Bronco is Better than New.
Check out the One of a Kind Custom Aluminum Dash, with a Full Line of Auto Meter Gauges. Topped off with a High Power Kenworth Stereo hooked up to 4 top of the line Speakers with external feed for outside Speakers.
I have invested over $50,000 in this truck over the years. I have seen several 1978 or 79 Broncos “For Sale” on many different sites that are much less of a truck for stupid high prices. Check out the Pictures, you will be impressed. If you don’t think she’s worth $16K move on. There are other Trucks out there that you can invest more Money & Time into and get a lot less out of. If you’re looking for a 1978 or 79 Bronco, This is the One for You! 1979 is the 1styear of the Catalytic Exhaust.
She is also being shown on MuscleCarFantisy.com, alongside a Hot Custom 1971 Plymouth RoadRunner.
