I bought the car from the 1st owner 2 years ago. This car drives like new, you never drove a mustang like this one!! Even a fully restored one doesn't drive as well and I drove many. Engine is quite powerful even more powerful than some 4 barrel cars I drove. I was stunned how supertight the car is, doesn't woblle or track on the road. Steering is real tight. Very responsive, very powerful. Brakes, gear box real tight, runs smooth and quiet, doesn't overheat. No leaks, no smoke, blow by or oil smell inside the car. No noises of anykind. Mechanically this car needs nothing and drives awesome. Turn key car. Confident to drive this car anywhere across country.
The paint is original and still very nice obviously with chips on door edges but no dents. Only the left rear quarter panel had a partial touch up repaint due to previous owner scratching it years ago in his garage. The body is straight like an arrow, with obviously no bondo, no accident and no rust.
This car has never been taken apart or restored, just regularly maintained with engine seeals replaced over the years.Everything works including horn (which never work usually) lights, heater, wiper, blows heat, etc
The interior is original and very nice. The front seats recovered with seats cover. The original owner said the original vinyl below were still ok. I never care to check. All chromes and trims are original and quite nice.
The car is so original I preferred to keep it and drive it like that without repainting it.Sure, if you buy the car you could repaint it to make it perfect but personally I think it will kill the originality of the car unless you do a car show paint maybe, up to you.
The car still has the original trunk mat, jack and spare tire and smog equipment (not on engine anymore but in a box.)
The car has original california black plates. It is registered with clean tilte on my name.I wanted to keep it in my collection and hate to sell it cause once it's gone I know I will never find another one like that again. Unfortunately it looks like next year I'm going to have to leave the country for a few years so I have to ge rid of some cars due to storage space. So it's gotta go. So I will sell the car to the best offer.Deposit is not refundable if you don't follow thru with purchase or change your mind after bidding.Deposit could only be refundable if when you'd check the car something major was hidden from you such as major structural damages on frame and body such as accident or important rust or bad engine or bad transmission, which is not the case with this car.
Please: DO NOT BID OR MAKE AN OFFER IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO PUT A DEPOSIT THE NEXT DAY AND BUY THE CAR WITHIN 10 DAYS.DO NOT CLOSE THE LISTING FOR OTHER POTENTIAL BUYERS BY BIDDING AND NOT POSTING A DEPOSIT RIGHT AWAY ANDASKING ME AFTERWARDS TO MAKE SOME ARRANGEMENTS.Contact me BEFORE to ask me for some arrangements. If you have no feedback or very bad feed back do not bid before contacting me first, either.
