1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
for your consideration is a (basically 1 owner) 1965 Mustang in it's original state i.e. paint, drive train and interior.so the story is : a friend of mine bought this car from the original owner over 20 yrs ago. he had the car taken to a local auto mechanic and they got it running for him. he told me he drove the car to his mothers and parked it in the garage and he'd drive it down the alley about once a wee, then once a month then not at all.fast forward about 20 yrs and here we have a very nice and completely original, 289 2 bbl, automatic tranny early 'tang for sale. there is evidence of some crash damage near front left headlite but looks to have been minor back then. there is a lot of the original paperwork included. the primer around the rear fender looks to be more for stopping the little rust that started to show up. this vehicle can be seen but there will 1 time when any and all interested parties can view it as it's parked at his 90 yr old mothers home and we will not bother her any more than necessary. if i were more of a car guy i'd buy this even if it is a ford! this machine is parked in an older 1 car garage so pics were what i could get. it appears straight and relatively rust free considering this is the "rust belt".it is my belief that this could be cleaned up and be a great survivor car as they are beginning to be appreciated more now for what they truly are. to restore this would be doing this an injustice as there's many examples out there that NEED restored and leave the originals alone! ( as i step down ) lol that and there's no need to throw restoration $$ at it as it's fine just as it is. (imho)so, looking for your next "love affair" or that cute lil sunday car for your wife to drive? (always a good excuse for helping to get it purchased anyway, heehee) it's the gift giving season so if nothing else give it to yourself.i took about 100 pics 2 years ago so anyone wanting pics let me know. anyone wanting to speak to the owner (2nd) give me your phone number and i'll pass it on to him. those with no, little or negative feedback your bids WILL be cancelled. those bidding without moms permission will be spanked and sent to bed without supper when dad gets home! i am listing for a friend and he and the vehicle are located in Tiffi, Oh.
