The steering is tight, and the brakes are solid. The engine starts and sounds great and exhaust system looks great. The engine appears to have never been out of the car, its looks all original such as, a/c, power steering, water pump etc. that it came with from the factory. The engine starts right up does not smoke and don't see any leak's. Now for the things we see. The glass is excellent, one small chip in the windshield about ¼ inch around. The interior and carpet appears to be all original and in excellent shape. The grill is missing, and we could not find it in the warehouse. The gentlemen that looked at the engine said the fins crack over time, who knows. He also said the hideaway actuator is all there and still functions when you pull the head light switch. All the gauges work, interior lights and outside lights all working great. The original hitch is still on the car as shown in the Marti Report. The original spare tire and jack are still behind the seat. I don’t know what else we can tell you about the car. If you would like to come out or send someone out to look at the car, your sure welcome; or if you have any questions, we can try and answer them the best we can. We have set a low reserve to find the grill and have it installed, the chip in the windshield filled. and this car would look brand new.
The Marti Report states that this is one of 49 Cars built with this engine and transmission. I would think this is one rare car considering there probably is only a hand full that are still on the road today.
