list of cons:exhaust needs welded at y-pipe.rear gas tank leaks at the bottom.front tank leaks at the top (its ok if you fill it upto 7/8 of a tank)leaks motor oil (gotta keep an eye on the oil)reverse lights come on when you flip a switch under the dashtires are baldneeds patch on driver side rocker panel and floor boardneeds pa safety inspectionhas several holes in the body that need filled with bondofront grill needs the plastic pins that hold it in placefour wheel drive works but when in low range the transfer case will pop out of gear; never a problem in four wheel high.I think the front u joints need replaced, they clang when in 4x4horn sometimes does not worklittle bit of play in the steering box
Look this thing starts every time and makes good power. It's a fun truck that needs some tlc. If I've forgotten to mention anything, its only the smallest of details.***** BE SURE TO CHECK TO SEE IF YOU HAVE TO PASS EMISSIONS WHERE YOU LIVE. IT WILL NOT PASS BECAUSE IT WAS ORIGINALLY A FUEL INJECTED MOTOR-IT IS NOW ANOTHER MOTOR WHICH IS CARBURETOR. I CANT REMEMBER THE EXACT MILEAGE; I BOUT IT THREE YEARS AGO AND DRIVE IT ABOUT 5K-8K MILES PER YEAR. SO I JUST ENTERED 170K.
