This auction is for a 1964 Ford Galaxie. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, WHICH MEANS HIGH BIDDER WILL OWN THE CAR AT THE END OF THE AUCTION. I DO NOT WANT TO LIST THIS TWICE, SO PLEASE HAVE YOUR FINANCES IN ORDER BEFORE YOU BID. I will give you as much detail about the car asI can. The body on the car is clean, straight and solid. The frame is also very clean, solid and has no signs of any damage. The car has a fresh 390 with a c6 automatic transmission with a manual valve body. The motor was fresh when I bought thecar and since I have owned it,I've have only had to replace the water pump. The motor has an aluminum intake, holly 600 carb with electric choke. The car has anew Flowmaster exhaust from the headers back. I have completely rebuilt the brake system from the master cylinder down to the hardware kits. This is still a drum brake car. The car has excellent tires all the way around it. I have recently installed a new floor shifter, new carpet, headliner, recovered the seats and installed a new battery. I would consider the car an overall 7 out of 10.All the glass in the car is perfect and all the windows roll up and down as theyshould. This is not a show car, but it does get quite a few compliments. The paint is not show quality, but is very nice in my opinion. The previous owner did remove the fuel tank and installed a fuel cell in the trunk as you can see in the pictures. Please look closely at all the pictures to determine the condition in your opinion. If you would like specific pictures of anything, please let me know and I will try and get them to you ASAP.
This is what I feel the car needs, in my opinion. When I did all the brakes I cannot get the front adjusted equally where it does not pull to the right or left. When I had the tires installed the gentleman failed to mention his balancer was broken so it wouldn't hurt to have the tires balanced. The radio does not work in the car. This car is a power steering car, however the previous owner removed the power steering. I have most all components to put it back on minus the pump that will come with the car. I also have all the side moldings to put back on the car if you wish. However I feel it has a much cleaner look without them. The car also comes with a complete weather stripping kit, which has been partially installed but I have not got around to doing the door seals yet. The cars paint does show some wear do to it being an older paint job. There is a dent in the driver side rocker panel, I tried to get a picture of it but it will not show up in a picture, but it isthere.
