1963 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
1963 FORD F100 PICK-UP truck. Standard Cab. I personally think everything is original. If I am wrong please tell me by the photos. 6 Cylinder engine 4 speed transmission. 2 wheel drive not 4 wheel drive. I bought early last year to restore this truck. However because of health issues I have never found the time to do so. I had someone put new brake cylinders and brake lines and master cylinder on this vehicle this summer. I personally did a tune-up on truck earlier last year. The engine sounds really good and is clean. I never have really driven it anywhere of distance because of no insurance and did not license it. The body is in good condition considering the age. It does have dings and scrapes however nothing major. I am sure there is some signs of bondo filling in the body. But I see very little. I see no body cancer on the floor boards or anywhere on the truck. It has of course some surface rust on the body and under carriage. Heavy duty leaf springs on truck. Tires look fair to good. Chrome wheels. All the glass is intact and in good condition. Front window is really nice. Inside of truck the dash is nice and seats are good. Slip seat covers covering original seats. A tact was installed by previous owner. It starts right up and runs. Remember it is a 1963 so it doesn't drive like a modern pickup. I have new motor mounts for it but never installed them. Truck originally had not power steering and still doesn't. Front end seems very tight. Steering is good. Regular drum brakes which still need to be adjusted. I noticed driving it a short distance it pulls to the right a little. Easy adjustment. Emergency brake is not connected. Mechanic didn't hook it up for some reason when I had the brakes done. The bed of truck very good condition. Like I said no cancer. Surface rusts but nothing major. Back tail gate needs some adjusting. Transmission is manual and shifts good. Clutch is good. Would be a great truck to finish for the right person. Very much driveable but like I said I have not driven it very far since I owned it. Whomever purchases it I would suggest highly that it is trailered and not driven home. I give no guarantees or warranties with this truck. Most trucks this age have a lot of body damage and cancer. This one does not. The paint on truck is poor. Primered and painted on flames on the hood. It looks cool but it needs paint. If someone just wants to keep it the way it is it would be a good truck. Body has dings as discussed but for someone that does body work an easy fix. ANY QUESTIONS OR MORE pics please ask before bidding. TRUCK must be picked up at my location in Western Montana. If someone wants it shipped you have to doing the shipping requirements. HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE A GREAT HOT ROD. Drop a V8 in it or keep it the way it is. Nice clean 6 cylinder in it now.
