1969 Ford Torino GT Additional Info:
I bought this car about 7 years ago from a fellow who bought it from the original owners. Court papers show it was stored for 20 years. Good daily driver if you want, I rarely drive it. Starts right up, almost 100% stock. Has a Holley avenger, and pertronix electronic ignition. Found the build sheet in the glove box. Its hard to read, but not too bad. Once I got it home I realized it had a 68 GT grille installed, and the passenger side Quarter panel, door, and fender had been changed. They all fit very nice, but the quarter panel is showing rust, where it was attache, on top. I swapped the 68 grille for a very nice, correct 69 GT grille. Looks very professionally done. Noticed the stock GT wheels have a few hairline cracks, so I bought a set of chrome GT wheels, but never got around to swapping them. They will go with the car. Rear bumper is a little bent. Needs new mufflers, but the rest of the dual exhaust system is in good shape. It is an easy un-bolt and replace muffler system. New parts I can think of, brakes, carburetor, fuel pump, gas tank, and sending unit. Very small rust spot, lower drivers side quarter panel about the size of a quarter. I was told rust free, but discovered that when I got it home. So it is a big block, 4-barrel, disc brake, air conditioned, automatic, bench seat, all stock, factory muscle car. A/C blew cold when I bought it, but needs a recharge now. Call with any questions.
