True American Classic. For sale is a 1994 Ford F150 XLT model pickup truck with an 8-foot bed. It has around 101,000 miles on it. The truck has an 8 cylinder 5.0 cubic foot 302 motor in it. The truck is also 2wd and comes with the original manuals. The man who owned the truck prior passed away of old age and the daughter sold the truck to me. He always kept the truck very nice and clean. You can see it was stored in a garage and pampered. Cosmetically the truck is very nice. I had plans for the truck but with changes in my personal life unfortunately I must sell it and unable to finish my goal. My vision was to lower the truck and put chrome 5 spoke wheels on it and turn it into a hot rod style. I have not owned it very long or driven it much.
The paint on the truck is new and is the original color for the truck. There was small amount of rust on the wheel wells so when I had the truck painted I paid the guy to weld in brand new sheet metal on the wheel wells. Paint job and new wheel wells were not cheap. There is no rot anywhere on this truck. It is all original except for the new wheel wells. The cab corners, cab floor, etc. are all in perfect shape with no rust. Light surface rust here and there on the frame, NO ROT. The overall body and body work is not perfect but it looks nice for its age. The wheel wells all have new chrome trim in them. The wheels are in great shape and have no damage on them. The headlights, taillights, turn signals, and side lights are all new. The tires are in great shape and have 90% tread on them. The previous owner had new shocks put in as well as a new battery (only 2 years old). Interior of the truck looks nice and it has the bucket style seats. Mechanically the truck seems to run strong. It idles smooth and has plenty of power.
I like to note any know problems with the truck so there are no surprises also there is no benefit to hide anything from the buyer in my opinion.
The driver’s side window sometimes hangs up and needs some assistance to move back up. I think it needs a new motor to operate the window up but not sure.
I did get a check engine light a while back while driving but when I got home it was gone and not on now. Again, the truck drives smooth and shifts nice so not sure what that was about.
Steering wheel is off center a bit, truck drivers very straight though. Some play in the steering. I think this is normal for the mileage and age though.
The truck is currently in my garage and does not have registration or insurance on it. The inspection and emissions is good till the end of the month. You are more than welcome to come and see the truck and test drive it locally. The title must be transferred before the truck leaves my property.
Please remember you are looking at a 23-year-old vehicle and it does have ware and tare. I encourage people to set up time to view the truck in person before bidding.
