1966 Ford Mustang Additional Info:

Up for sale is my 1966 Mustang fastback. This is an A code car with factory 4 speed toploader transmission and Hurst shifter.

This Mustang has spent most of it’s life in California. The previous owner did a partial restoration in the early 90's when it was painted the current color (originally silver blue metallic). It has been in storage for about 25 years until last year. I have been working on making it mechanically sound and have made the following repairs:

*New front brake pads and rear brake shoes

*New rear brake distribution hose and rear brake cylinders

*New double master cylinder (safer than the original single)

*New Ford racing intake, Edelbrock 1406 carb, plugs, wires, distributor, coil, oil pressure and temp sending units

*New steering linkage. This Mustang originally had power steering but it was in poor condition. I removed all the p/s components and replaced the linkage with a manual set up. Brackets are still on the car and all p/s components are included with the sale.

*New 3 core radiator from National Parts Depot, radiator hoses, thermostat, and cap

*New KYB gas adjust front shocks

*New interior door panels

*New door seals

*New tires

Runs and drives fantastic. I have been using it as my daily driver for the past month and have had no issues. All of the gauges and lights work. Transmission shifts great. Engine is the original 289 block but has newer 302 heads from the 80's on it. When I was replacing the intake manifold I could tell the engine was super clean internally and appears to have low miles since it was rebuilt in the 90's.

The body is in good condition with no dents. All glass is in excellent condition. Rear quarter panels have been replaced at some point but the rest of the panels on the Mustang appear to be original. Paint looks good from about 20 ft away but when you get closer you can see chips and scrapes. With a nice paint job this Mustang could easily be worth $35,000 in my opinion, but do the research for yourself.

Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
