1956 Ford F-100 Additional Info:
1956 Ford F100 pickup project. Most of the construction work on the truck has been completed.
Body work includes a 5" stretch through the cab, doors, floor and roof. I needed the extra legroom that was not found in the original. Electric windows are installed and made for one piece glass. Doors were rounded at the top and Kindig door handles installed. Originally a small back window converted to a big window. Bed has molded in fenders and other custom work. Set up for hidden gas tank filler. Bumpers are made from '68 Camaro bumpers cut down and fit tight to the body. They will resemble a 60's Corvette bumpers, but need to be chromed. Inner fenders are also molded in. LED tail lights fit and come with the truck. Hood and roof have been sliced (pancaked) similar to the Foose truck.
Chassis, aHeight's independent front suspension was installed as well as a 2004 Cobra independent rear suspension (The one shown is from a sister build being built at the same time in the same shop, but identical installation.) The frame was fully boxed and reinforced where extended and at the rear suspension point. The picture is of the sister truck and shows an aluminum driveshaft that does NOT com with the truck, but can be ordered for around $800. Gas and brake lines not run yet but, could be done at buyers expense.
Nearly new leather seats come with the truck, as does the steering less steering wheel. Wheels are new Carol Shelby 20" 5 X 4 1/2 pattern and have new Michelin tires mounted on them. I would be open to a tire exchange, and possibly a wheel exchange as well. Exhaust is complete and exits in the rear beneath the license plate.
Bed wood is Zebra wood and only needs the final coat of finish and buffing. Stainless bed strips with no show bolts included.
I am pretty firm on the price.

A question was asked;
Do you have all the parts to complete the project? At least to the drivability point?

I do not have the parts necessary on hand. I have what it takes to make it steer except the steering wheel. I do not have the brake booster/clutch cylinders, nor plumbing. I do not have the gas line. I do not have the drive shaft nor the engine control system. All those parts are readily available, except the driveshaft would need to be made. But none come with the truck. The list includes all the big parts but there may be other lesser parts needed to fully run and drive. I have a parts list with part numbers cost and suppliers if anyone would like to see it. | | |
