This car was restored back in 1993 using factory parts and has had the same owner since 1994 lovingly maintained and kept up with maintenance.
(Owner only put about 12,000 miles on it during those 23 years!).
Everything was gone through during restoration. Engine rebuilt and drivetrain gone through. There has been a lot of recent maintenance completed as well.
Southern car originally- Spent most of its life in Florida.
Never driven during inclement weather, always stored inside.
This car is a true driver, turn-key and go anywhere.
Extra manuals included!
This is a 64 ½ Mustang in beautiful rare original condition with a build date of 07-21-1964.The 260-V8 engine and the 3 speedCruise-O-Matic auto-transmission both are excellent. This car is in beautiful condition. No surprises to be found. Inside is like new.
It has the original engine, transmission, generator, original working radio, and more. ALL WORK PERFECTLY. The color is a Factory color Rangoon Red with the white convertible top (top has a few minor pinch holes shown in pics but does not affect operation). The inside is Ivory White (believe the Trim code shows it was originally black as well!).There are minor scratches/chipping on the interior door panels from normal wear. The paint has been redone and is in great shape with minor chips here and there.
Undercarriage is in great shape with minor surface rust. This is not a show car, but could be with little. It has been used as a driver.
A check of the NADA classic car values (09-15-2017) shows this year car at $55,000 for high retail and $33,300 for average retail. I believe this car’s condition would be closer to high retail, as per the explanation by the NADA.
My reserve is a huge amount below a fair value.
