1968 Torino GT Convertible
Up for auction at NO RESERVEis a very nice 1968 Torino GT convertible with a 390 ci 4V engine and a C6 automatic transmission. The engine & transmission are numbers matching to the vehicle and both have been rebuilt a few years ago. During the rebuild, the Edelbrock/Holley 4V induction setup was added (original 2V intake & carb included). This is an original Kentucky car which still retains all its factory sheet metal. The car has been repainted in the original Brilliant T code Red color and is very presentable with only very minor imperfections. The white convertible top is new and has the glass back window. The frame rails, torque boxes and shock towers are in excellent rust free condition. The floor pan is also in excellent condition with only a very small repair on the passenger side front foot well.
The original red bench seat interior is very nice with only a small seam rip on the driver's seat. The carpet has been replaced and an updated AM/FM cassette radio has been added (original AM radio included). This is an excellent running & driving vehicle with power steering, power drum brakes and new tires mounted on the factory GT wheels. The Ford glass is in very nice condition along with all the trim and bumpers. The VIN tag, buck tag, door tag and axle tag are all still in place. See the attached Marti report for factory details.
I have a clean Michigan title in my name. Please do not hesitate to ask questions and the car is also available for inspection. Email me with any questions you may have. This item is sold as is, thanks for looking. All shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Thank you for viewing my auction.
