1959 Galaxie 500

1959 Ford Galaxie 500 Additional Info:

Selling my sons 1959 Galaxie 500. Lots of fun to drive, and lots of looks, and " Thumbs ups ".
Car was a basket case when we bought it, wiring was cut & cobbled, had a junk 302 in it, and trans had no reverse, and brake lights did not work.
We installed a 1969 Ford 351 Windsor engine, with a C4 transmission.
New Tires ( less than 500 miles on them ), rebuilt steering cylinder, both power steering hoses, and numerous other parts.
Car comes with many extra parts also : spare radiator, heater core assembly, extra set of 14" Galaxie hub caps.
Car has a small trans leak. We had the trans repaired, but got poor results, it still leaks. The car has a new kick down cable with it, but has yet to be installed.
Brakes work fine, for old school drum brakes
We also have an entire dash assembly that will go with it, out of a 1958 Fairlane, needs to be cleaned up. We purchased it to install, because we liked the looks of it much better than the 59 dash and instrument cluster.
Body is a little rough, but solid, as seen in the pictures. It has rust in all of the same parts as all of the old " Slab Body " Fords.
