1970 Ford Mustang 428 Cobra Jet Q-CODE 1of42 Additional Info:

Upfor sale is a Q-code 1970 FordMustang 428 cobra jet fast back.Bought the car back in 1999 from the second owner had the motor rebuilt at Roger's Speed Shop in Garwood NJ the motor had 71,000 miles. Has a Mallory electronic distributor and a speed demon carb. The car runs great! 4 speed trans shifts great! Has a Centerforce clutch. The frontsuspension has beenreplaced and the rear leaf springs andtraction bars were added. The exhaust was done too with 3chambered Flow Master mufflers and the rear tail pipe's are tucked under the rearvalance. I never did anything with the rear the car came with 3.00 gears but the last ownerreplaced themwith Ibelieve3.55 gears.The car was striped and repainted not much rust! the only sheet metal that wasreplaced is the driver side lower quarter panel. car was painted its factory colormedium blue met. Car does have the wrong mirrors on it's supposed to have onechrome mirror which I did buy after market and will give with the car and I also have a new headliner in the box. The car was painted back in 2000 and was a driver, so has somescratchs, chips and a small dent on the front valance, the worst is a scratch on the drivers side quarter.I didn't realize until I took the pictures that there is miner rust on the back of the torque box on thepassenger side, see last twopictures. But besides that the car looks great! The interior is in great shape had the two front seatsreupholstere, back lower seat dose have a tear in the seem.Thecarpet was never changed. Has afactory am/fmradio. I did add a tachunder thedash next to the console.I have theduplicate window sticker and recently got a Marti Report.I know when I bought this car it had to berare, and turns out there were only 42 1970 just sport roof mustangs (not Mach 1's) werebuilt with a 428 and a 4 speed trans!How many could be left! I love this car and wish Ididn't have to sell it.
