My good high school buddy's dad owned a '65 red Mustang convertible back in the day, but not quite like this one. I remember we'd lay face up on creepers beneath his dad's lift, fixing my gaze on the tidy underside of that red-hot convertible for hours. With drool dripping like a leaking faucet from the corner of my smile, I fell into a bit of a trance. Well, this story essentially remains the same; only this time there is one major difference: this '65 takes clean to a new level.

This 289ci V8 engine very well may be the original motor born in this car, but speculation aside, this classic motor is assisted by an Autolite single 2-barrel carb and a C4 3-speed auto transmission. She's restored to stock condition and runs like a top!
