1965 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
Up for bids is this 1965 ford mustang fastback. This is a project that could be made into a sweet car if someone is wanting to build one. This one has alot of potential as I have built them lots worse than this from the start point. This is a original C code 289 fastback with a clear title. The car will need a restoration. The underside is not terribly bad. The front and rear rails are decent. It need floor pans but there is a full floor pan included in the deal. The doors and fenders are good. It has all the glass door glass and front windshield and back glass. It has a 289 automatic that will go with it. It looks like it was blasted at some point. The engine bay looks good but the trunk floor will need some work. It has some small pin holes in it. The roof will need some smoothing out or a skin which ever is easier. It has some dings in the front of it. The drivers rear quarter will also need replacing as it looks like the car was hit on the drivers back side at some point and someone did a bad repair job. All the parts that come with the car are layed out and I took pics of them. Basically the drip rail and molding in that area is there, seats front and back, motor and transmission, full floor, some fiberglass interior panels, dash cluster, trunk lid, heater box, driver shaft, grille, headlight buckets, rock guard, rear valance, all glass, and there is other stuff but there is alot that goes with this car. It will roll and steer. The motor will turn over by hand. This would make a nice project for someone. It also comes with a shelby fiberglass hood, deck lid, and side scoops. If you have questions or need more pics just let me know. If you need to call me my number is 318-278-1069. I can store the car for a few weeks but full payment will need to be made within seven days after the auction ends. If you live way off and want it and I have to I can put the motor in the engine bay put the front and back glass in it and fill it up with parts. These fastbacks are getting harder to find in any condition so if you are wanting one you better go on and get one because I don't see them getting any cheaper. I have described it about the best I can so if you have questions just ask me. This is a buildable project. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for the car. Please serious bidders. The car is also for sale locally so if the auction ends early the car probably sold locally.
