Street Rod 1922 T Bucket pickup with, 454 chevy, turbo 400 trans & Jag rear end

1922 Ford Model T Street Rod Additional Info:

This is primarily a T-Bucketfiberglasskit car but it has a valid NJ title stating it is a 1922 model year and avin number stamped in the front frame cross member. I presume that part of the frame is from an original 1922 vehicle, but everything else is after market. I purchased the car as it sits today in 1990 and have done nothing to it other than change the oil & filter, fill it with gas and drive it a few times a year for a little cautious street fun or participation in a public event, when the weather is good! It has always been garaged and it has always been registered with NJ antique car QQ plates. The car is drive-able as is. A battery recharge or replace and some starting fluid will get it running. It is rough on fit and finish and some functions. It is not a show car quality build by any measure, but oddly enough it has won some trophies at car shows I have entered, "crowd favorite" and the dubious honor of "oldest car at show"!!!! It looks like it has seen some road miles but it has a nice stance from all angles and a nice visual balance of exaggeration with a big block Chevy engine, narrow motorcycle wheels up front and 18" wide tires in the rear on a narrowed and chromed Jaguar swing axle rear, with in-board disk brakes. It draws a lot of attention on the run or stopped! The drive train is a 454 Chevy engine mated to a turbo 400 automatic transmission(as I am told) with a high tech Jaguar rear end that adds a lot of unique style to the car. It is a great car for an occasional cautious fun drive or public event. As a refresh or refinish or rebuild project, all the pieces are there and certainly much cheaper than individually buying them all at today's prices! This type of vehicle is all about style and show and raw power! It has no safety equipment and is not designed to withstand any type of vehicle accident. It performs best in a straight line and should only be driven by a mature adult who understands it's design limitations and handling characteristics! THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS!!
