1963 Ford Galaxie XL Additional Info:

I will never be able to cover everything that has been done to this beautiful 1963 Galaxie 500XL I will try to describe the carbut I'm sure i will forget some of it, So please ask questions, This two door hardtop has it's original 352 FE V8 with a cruise o matic transmission power steering and brakes, This car has been in the Tampa, FL area all it's life, my brother purchased it almost 20 years ago, and later started a 1 1/2 year restoration that was completed in 2002, it received a complete body on restoration, has all original body panels it was stripped and re painted it's correct color of Ragoon red and Corinthian white top, the paint looks fantastic, The bumpers were re chromed at that time also, The rear one shows a few very small imperfections, the glass is original except for a new windshield all the rubber trim was replaced, The interior looks fantastic the dash column and console were repainted and all new correct seat upholstery and new dynamat type sound deadener was installed under the new carpet,the original door panels were restored, and all new nos window crank handles were installed, the headliner is original to the car, an NOS am radio, speaker and antenna was added, The dash bezels and knobs are nos or restored and look great also, it has a new NOSR complete dash pad that i installed about 6 months ago, the horn ring and A pillar trim was re chromed also, The engine and trans were rebuilt, a complete dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers was added, The 9'' rearend had new axle bearings and all the seals replaced, New front and rear springs and suspension rubber bushing were replaced and a Greg Donahue bar was added to the front A arms, The power steering pump and power ram were rebuilt, The brakes were completely gone thru it had new lines and hoses M/C W/C and shoes were replaced, The radiator went bad about three or four years ago and i purchased a new NOSR one, The trunk is very nicely detailed it was stripped to bare metal and color matched and a new NOSR Burtex mat and new side boards were installed about a year ago, It's nicely detailed under the hood also, The windshield washer bag is just for show, The valve covers are original 352 and the air cleaner is original 352 from a 1966 galaxie, That have been chromed, I have the original valve covers and air cleaner from this car that were stripped and painted the original blue color an look fantastic, The exterior trim looks great overall there are a few very small blemishes but I'm being very picky, There are pictures of the car with the original wheels and spinner hubcaps, and the wheels on the car at the moment which are from an 05 mustang with the ford emblem spinners, I switch back and forth when I get tired of one look, You get your choice of wheel sets or we can work something out for both sets, All the lights, gauges, wipers and accessories work excellent, The car sounds and drives very nice, I purchased the car from my brother in 2005 and have lovingly cared and maintained it, This is a 53 plus year old car so don't expect it to drive, steer or stop like a modern vehicle, If you have zero feedback and are serious about purchasing my car contact me first because bidders with zero feedback or non payment infractions are blocked from bidding on my items, This is not a game it cost money and time to list a vehicle, The car is sold in as-is condition and does not have a warranty, Please don't assume anything so ask questions before the auction ends, I can only post 24 pics, but can send one of any area you might want to view, The buyer is responsible for obtaining his own shipping, If your an international bidder you must contact me first, Thanks for looking at my auction...
