1965 Ford Galaxie 315 HP Additional Info:

SPRING CARLISLE DELIVERY is available!!! Up for auction is a unique 1965 FORD GALAXIE 500 LTD with the rare Z code 10:5 .1 High Compression 390 engine 315 factory rated Horsepower with the four barrel fomoco carb, column shifted Automatic transmission, 3.00 rear gears and dual exhaust. The car only has 63,000 Original miles and it is a very nice solid body and frame as it originally came from Arkansas at one point in time. This car has come out of recent storage from being tucked away for many years and not having been on the road since 1992. This car is currently up and running again after some minor maintenance and moving under its own big block power. The car is not perfect by any means and i dont want to portray it that way. It has roof rust from the vinyl top being on there for years and rusting some underneath of it along with a few holes in the trunk floor but otherwise the body and frame rails are Solid. Yes, the gauges, lights, and horn do work. The only reason for letting this car go is that i am concentrating on refurbishing an old detroit diesel road tractor at the moment and don't really have the space for both in the building. The car runs very well. The 4v 315hp 390 drivetrain is super solid and very quiet yet powerful in the car. The transmission is very tight and goes right into gear with no hesitation or no slippage at all. Its a great deal for whoever get it. It has Air Conditioning, Power Steering and Power Brakes as well. New mufflers were just installed so the exhaust is very solid and it sounds like a great 390 Ford should. I have a CLEAN and CLEAR Virginia Title in hand. I am selling this car in as is condition and with NO RESERVE! I am starting it with a very cheap and crazy low price just to be fair to all who bid. The high bidder gets it, simple as that. I will be at the Spring Carlisle PA swap meet and show on either Friday April 22nd or Saturday April the 23rd. Not exactly sure which day yet but DELIVERY of the car to there is very possible. But for that to happen it would have to be paid for ahead of time. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDING and NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. I only deal and ship inside of the United States. I have great feedback and i have sold a couple classic cars in the past with no issues and i really like to meet people in person to do a deal with a handshake and a smile. That way everyone is happy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Also ... For anyone interested, I have taken a video of the car running and can email it to you if you desire. Just email me and let me know. Thanks and good luck bidding on another classic ride.
