1951 Ford Crestliner 2dr Sedan. Ford Crestliners were the deluxe version of a "shoebox" Ford with two-tone paint and vinyl tops. It has the flathead V8. 3-on-the-tree manual transmission w/Overdrive. Came from a large estate collection. It was a California car with no rust in the body or underneath. The green paint is very tired and thin and has sort of patina'd to a matte finish. I assume its original laquer but not sure. The black is still fairly glossy but has started to spider crack. The finish contrast gives it a very cool street rod look. The interior is original looking. The carb has been rebuilt. New ignition and wires. New battery. New gas tank. It fires right up and runs great. The sound of the flathead V8 with dual exhaust is really cool. The brakes have been brought back up as well but they are weak and could be adjusted. Also, the steering is a little loose under speed so it probably needs new tie rod ends, etc. This is one cool car and you won't find one like it anywhere.
