For Sale is a 1967 Ford F100 Wimbledon white Pick-up truck with 93,000 original miles on the matching engine. This “farm” truck has only three owners and originally owned by a North Caroline Veterinarian until 1986. It was then purchased by a gentleman in Albany NY and hardly driven until 2014 when I purchased it and have only put 300 miles on it since purchase.
This straight six engine is a manual three speed on the column; manual brakes, manual steering and a delete radio make this a classic farm truck. But as you can see from the pictures it was not used for any real farm work as the bed of the truck has almost no dings or dents like you would expect. It was painted about 8 years ago and the interior mostly redone. It does have a couple small dings and one area of very minor surface rust (shown in the pictures).
In the several years that I have owned it I replaced the alternator, starter, heater hoses, new carburetor (will provide the original one as well) fuel pump, exhaust manifold, exhaust system (including original style muffler), new gaskets, new spark plugs and new shocks. I also replaced most of the window gaskets and felt. I have not replaced the main front or rear window gasket but do have them and will provide with the truck. The tires are old but in great shape. I was convinced not to change them out since it gives the truck lots of character. Last year I had the “behind the seat” gas tank removed and boiled out and sealed. As you can see it is painted and in great shape.
The seats appear to be redone but have the original seat hardware. The headliner is freshly painted and in almost new shape. The steering wheel has the standard crack in it but does not affect anything.
The things that I would have liked to do to the truck would be to completely redo the rear end and chassis. These are in good shape but they were not re-painted when the truck was done.
I am in no hurry to sell the truck but feel it could go to someone who has more time to enjoy it and finish the last remaining pieces to make this a truly classic showpiece.
Clear title to this garaged truck for at least the last 30 years. Please email me with any questions. I have several other pictures. It comes with one original Ford key.
This truck is in great shape and will make a great conversation piece.
