1969 Ford Mustang Base Hardtop 2-Door Additional Info:
I am a private party, not a dealer: Up for sale is my (personal owned)1969 Ford Mustang Coupe, factory brass tag car with the brass tag serial number on the build sheet as listed. This is a S code 390, C6 Automatic, factory air conditioning car. According to Kevin Marti, this is 1 of 3 cars with the 390 engines at the Dearborn Engineering Facility in 1968. This vehicle came to me with a 1970 front clip, which is removed now. This was the only one that was winter blue in color of the three coupes. I have thousands of dollars of NOS parts and other parts for this project not pictured. This is an extremely rare car. I have a nice set of 428 exhaust manifolds and heads that are polished and ported that are ready to be bolted on that are sold seperately from this car. I have a completely rebuilt Air conditioning evaporator and heater box. I have a 1970, 390 that came out of a car that ran great for this car and a C6 transmission from a period correct Mustang. This car has many desirable options such as the deluxe decor interior and rim blow wheel (all missing), power front disc brakes, blue interior, shifter on the floor with no console. This was a gentleman's muscle car! I have a professionally rebuilt, period correct, Autolite-Holley, date code correct for this car ($850) also sold seperately as an option to the buyer of this car. Plus a date code-date correct intake. I have a complete, new, never installed FORD AC KIT with clutch and brackets and pulleys for this car. I have a NOS set of front disc brakes and Kelsy Hayes calipers to make this car compatible to a Boss 302 front disc brake set up. Too many parts to list. Serious inquiries only. No tire kickers. This is 1 of 3 Mustang Coupes specifically built for the Ford Dearborn Engineering Facility. This is a rare piece of automotive history. I have a clear title for this car along with the original build sheets from Lois Eminger-Kevin Marti. Frame rails are nice, I have new complete floor pans, and 2 new quarter panels. I have a new set of front seat foams from CJ Auto Parts (Mustangs). I have a like new, original shifter for this project. I have another nice lower dash panel (metal frame) as the original item has a hole cut out for fog lights. Car located in Duluth, Minnesota. This car is for sale locally and I may end theauction at any time without notice. ** The cylinder heads, exhaust manifolds and carb are an option for the buy for this project not included in the sale of this car. If you want this car for 5K, this is NOT your auction. Shipping is the responsibilityof the buyer and I will not ship this car overseas. The car doesn't leave my property until paid in full and payment clears my bank.On Aug-02-17 at 20:04:48 PDT, seller added the following information:
** The 390 engine and transmission are mounted in the car. I have loosely installed a pair of 1969 front fenders on the car. If your feedback rating is negative or you just created an account, this is not your auction and I will have your bid cancelled. If a prospective bidder has less than a 500 feedback rating, you must ask for my permission to bid further; no exceptions.
