1992 Ford F-150 FlareSide Additional Info:
One lady/family owner since new in 1992 and bought a Bird-Kultgen Ford in central Texas as a daily driver.
Have papers and receipts.
For the year this truck is in above average to good condition, cold air, drives straight. New brakes, replaced tires, center caps and lugs, replaced muffler, headlights, tail lights, headlight bezels, new window tint and power mirrors and ball joints. Right window works but you have to 'help' it back up so I will include a brand new window regulator. Sliding back window, latch broken.
Bed is not all beat up and fenders are solid with no cracks. ABS and emergency brake light (probably a switch) is on but has no effect. Starts and runs very good and COOL engine temperature. Current oil change. Never wrecked as far as I know.
A couple of shallow dents in the roof and tailgate and one small crease on the right side front fender hardly noticeable that have tried to get a dent doctor to take out, but just can't hook up with him.
Truck did have a repaint several years ago from Maaco and still looks dang good! Mileage is 364000 all highway miles. Head was replaced a couple of years ago but this 4.9 in-line straight six fleet engine is almost indestructible. One tiny oil drip and no smoke whatsoever out of this fleet commercial engine.
Clean title in my name in hand, and NO, this is not a flipper truck. Parts are readily available and truck is cheap to work on compared to what is out there now.
This truck is not practicable for me to drive everyday since I am on the Obama plan now and retired. I just bought a Corolla for my everyday use.
Ask yourself when you have seen one of these on the road and I'll bet it's been a while, and getting more rare everyday.
And for you Gassers,,,well,, wouldn't this make a good street rod or drag truck?
This truck is a 'keeper', but not for me so I have decided to sell. I don't want it to just sit. It needs to be driven.
Call anytime and ask any questions you like and I will answer totally honestly with what I know about the truck.
I would like someone who is serious about this truck to keep the saga alive and to treat her well.
Feel free to call and ask anything that you like. If you are seriously interested about the truck and have the cash, come see it and drive it and let's talk about it to make it yours!
Thanks A Lot!!
